About Pastor Robert Ryder
Founder of Ryder Ministries

Pastor Robert Ryder began his journey of faith-driven ministry in 1986 when he founded Ryder Ministries with a small but passionate board of five people. Shortly after its inception, Pastor Robert was called to the Philippines for a weeklong mission where he boldly demonstrated the healing power of God through the name of Jesus Christ. That transformative trip—where many were miraculously healed—ignited a worldwide evangelistic mission that continues to inspire countless lives.

Driven by the Great Commission found in Mark 16:15–20, Pastor Robert dedicated his life to proclaiming the gospel and healing the sick in Jesus’ name. His ministry took him across the globe to places like Hawaii, Korea, Honduras, and Colombia, South America, and throughout the Pacific Northwest, including many cities and towns—especially Portland, Oregon—where he conducted powerful events known as Healing Explosions.

These gatherings became a hallmark of Ryder Ministries, as people experienced God’s tangible presence and miraculous healing. Pastor Robert’s unwavering faith and commitment to spreading the Good News left a lasting impact on both local communities and international audiences.

Now retired from active leadership, Pastor Robert enjoys life with his beloved wife Peggy Twedt, continuing to walk faithfully with God. Though officially retired, he remains active in prayer and ministry, faithfully lifting others up and supporting the body of Christ through intercession and encouragement.
